Spring in San Francisco 4

On our last day we visited the California Academy of Sciences, which has a planetarium, rainforest/botanical garden, and aquarium.

We really had a lot of fun over the weekend.

Spring in San Francisco 3

We rented a tandom bike and rode around on Sunday. We rode across the Golden Gate Bridge, these shots are toward San Francisco.

Spring in San Francisco 2

We rented a car and drove up the coast to Muir Woods. The Redwoods were neat.

The coast was very pretty. A few miles inland reminded me a lot of the LC valley in spring, at least more so than anywhere else I've been. Didn't take any pictures of it though, almost forgot I was on vacation.

I thought California was supposed to be packed with tourists. We must have timed it right. The best site was '57 chevy stationwagon with a surfboard on top, driving to the beach.

Spring in San Francisco 1

Chelsea found a screaming deal on a hotel+ airfare so we vacationed in San Francisco over the weekend.

Ghirardelli square, just down the street from our hotel. Great banana splits.

The Bay Bridge and San Francisco from Alcatraz. I can imagine worse places to spend a few years.
