So we've been delinquent with our postings... Over the past few weeks we've traveled to Tower Hill State Park, canoed on the Wisconsin River, and "mountain biked" in Kettle-Moraine state park. The photo below is of a spring fed lake that used to be a 1800's resort hotel.
The brook trout fishing looked excellent, but I've developed a habit of leaving the fly rods at home.This is the spring house that fed the lake.
This is one of several of Wisconsin's stream fed prairies.
We're headed to Door County this weekend (Wisconsin's thumb in Lake Michigan). Be sure to check the blog out next week!
